This project focuses on a exciting development in the stunning Cotswold Hills incorporating a large farm house and old dairy, as well as numerous other outbuildings, that are to be transformed into a family home, high-quality holiday lets and event space.

Key consideration is given to maximising functionality of the space for all these different uses, whilst maintaining privacy and a sense of home.

Three main zones are introduced: The Orchard, a semi-wild space for wildlife and seclusion; The Formal Lawn, a showcase for traditional English herbaceous borders, and The Sanctuary, a terraced, contemporary, ornamental garden.

Materials evoke the history of the site, with brass features and stone giving a sense of faded luxury.

The surrounding countryside is drawn into the site as miniature views through gaps in the formal hedging. In contrast, at the South of the site, a stone walkway across a large pool leads out into the expansive view of the fields and hills beyond.
